Cardinal Oswald Gracias contradicts the voice of the Catholic Church and UCAN is the channel to express his ideologies.Indian Church filled with scandals, feminism etc. How can they be fit to elect a Pope if they have not done anything to stop corruption in the Indian Church.
One fact I have witnessed here in Lonavla that the asanas/exercises in yoga are useful in alleviating a variety of ailments. The part about worship of the sun as a supreme force I personally do not subscribe to. Ayurvedic/herbal medicines are extremely useful. That anyone says that the practice of Yoga in its entirety is not at all linked to practices of the Hindu religion, is completely erroneous. It definitely is. It is for the individual who wishes to keep himself in a healthy state to do the exercises as a fitness regimen and not as a religious practice; after all the Hindu religion is way way older than Christianity, and it certainly must have some good for its followers; the nonsense that was promulgated some years ago that if one was not Catholic, salvation of the soul could not be attained. This theory or teaching is idiotic, and has been realoised and understood as so. Some dioceses and parishes in order to kow tow to local sentiment have include in the rituals of Catholic services, such as dancing in the sanctuary, aarti, sitting on the floor whilst celebrating the Eucharist, and priests entering the sanctuary for mass bare- footed. It would really be more sensible if they are good persons rather than put on this show of trying to be ethnic and in sync with the changing time.
As far as Oswald Gracias becoming Pope goes, the world will see a new brand of money grabbing and corruption Indian style; as surely he is not oblivious to all the “GOCHI” that is going on in many parishes in Bombay. Volumes have been written about this rot that is a fact of life in many parishes; if he claims he does not know about all this then he should resign as he must surely be blind and deaf. I am still sure that GOD will guide the selection of the new Pope
I am in a complete confused state of mind.One section says Yoga is banned and then one reads this article. What has the church to say? are the laity being taken for a ride?. Can the apostolic Nuncio in India direct the various Archdiocese In India to come out open on this. What is Cardinal Oswald doing. yes of course should he become Pope the world will see a great xxxx xxxx Pope and one can imagine what the Bishops and priest in India will do.
The Holy father was deep into cleaning up the financial and sexual mess, however the shit was so much, he just could not and gave up.
Emeritus Pope Benedict was honest enough to resign, on grounds of poor health. Whereas we have a Cardinal Archbishop here in India whose health we would definitely not like to doubt but in his many claims of amnesia concerning the evil and rot going on his Archdiocese, he definitely needs to step down, at least, on grounds of INCAPACITY. He has failed to handle his folks many complaints and has become forgetful to handle the many problems his priests face, remembering only to support their vices and persecute those who oppose his ways

I cannot understand why the moderator of this publication cuts out words he/she feels are objectionable; why be hypocritical and ask for comments if you have to censor them. If the person who you feel is being maligned let him/her sue the writer. I for one state that surely Oswald Gracias should be sacked as he both blind and deaf and cannot see or hear all the crookedness that is going on in the many parishes in Bombay. The end times are near. This is one of the signs where the Church leaders will divert the flock from the teachings of Lord Jesus Christ and make them follow the teachings and customs of Gentiles. Yoga, Celebrating mass by way of other religion’s culture, doing ARTI and putting TIKA to a priest before mass, etc etc are all breaking of the 1st Commandment that Lord God gave us.
2 Maccabees 4:13-14 “Because of the unrivaled wickedness of Jason, that ungodly and illegitimate High Priest, the craze for the Greek way of life and for foreign customs reached such a point that even the priests lost all interest in their sacred duties. They lost interest in the Temple services and neglected the sacrifices. Just as soon as the signal was given, they would rush off to take part in the games that were forbidden by our Law.”
Exodus 23:24 “Do not bow down to their gods or worship them, and do not adopt their religious practices.”
Jeremaih 10:2 “Do not follow the ways of other nations”.
Proverbs 1:15 “My child, don’t go with people like that. Stay away from them.”
Leviticus 18: 25-“to say to the people of Israel, “I am the Lord your God. 3 Do not follow the practices of the people of Egypt, where you once lived, or of the people in the land of Canaan, where I am now taking you. 4 Obey my laws and do what I command. I am the Lord your God. 5 Follow the practices and the laws that I give you; you will save your life by doing so. I am the Lord.”
For Jesus has already said about them, (Matthew 15: 7-9) “You hypocrites! How right Isaiah was when he prophesied about you! ‘These people, says God, honor me with their words, but their heart is really far away from me. It is no use for them to worship me, because they teach human rules as though they were my laws!”
Dear brothers and sisters in Lord Jesus Christ, I am warning you against such religious leaders who are taking you to hell by making you follow others rituals and customs. I hereby ask you to stop following and obeying such ‘sons of snakes’ – else on the Judgement Day, Lord will not spare even you.
