  1. Glynis Martin says:

    Hello,

My name is Glynis Martin. in December, 2011 We wrote to Cardinal Giovanni Battista as he is the cardinal re prefect, congregation for bishops. The letter came from Tasmania, Australia and we would just like to know how long it takes to receive a reply as to the outcome of the letter written. It was a complaint about the Archbishop of Tasmania Adrian Doyle and his lack of concern or communication regarding 2 letters that my husband and I wrote to him on 11/11/11 and the 28/11/11. We have received no correspondence relating to the matters raised within either letter so we then sent a letter to Cardinal Giovanni Battista.
our address is MDC PO BOX 3063, ULVERSTONE. TASMANIA. 7315 AUSTRALIA
    PH: 03 64252151
We hope that you can look into this situation for us.
    Many blessings upon you.
    Glynis and Cedric Martin.

People respect word Priest and not the Man and need a Urgent solution
This Priest is a Bad influence to the Christian Religion

  4. Sarita Falcao says:

I am writing this out of a sense of disappointment, frustration and anger at the Catholic Church in Mumbai and hoping that someone here will be able to help me.

I require the record of death of my ancestor who died in 1934 in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The only place where the death has been recorded is the register of Holy Cross Church, Lower Parel. There are no municipal records of her death. We need the certificate urgently to settle some property issues.

The Church authorities, (right upto the Cardinal) are refusing to share the details with us, or even provide a photocopy of the page. incidentally, the records in the book are incomplete (only 30-odd deaths have been recorded for the diocese in 1934!) but fortunately we were able to see our name when the peon there allowed my Dad to glance at the book… probably pitying him for his age and the trouble that he had taken to get there on his own all the way from Goa, just for this.

The reason being cited is that the certificate has no name. Yes, that is indeed the case! but it is entirely the fault of the Church and not in our hands. Moreover, the ‘Mother of’ section, year and other details correspond with the rest of our family records.

Given that in 1934 the church was legally a death-registering body, can we demand the same via an RTI?

Thank you in advance for your time and help.

  5. All these touching stories of the WOES of the laity are the result — I AM REASONABLY SURE — of the antics of that breed of VERMIN CLERGY — the secular/diocesan clergy — They are the biggest loophole in our clergy system — they do not have any vow of poverty to restrict their money grabbing tricks — no proper vow of obedience — hence they have a field day and run amok with their sexual and money grabbing antics — Till this horrid abomination in our clergy system — is totally abolished — the Catholic Church has NO FUTURE !!!!!
The small town — LONAVLA — where I have lived for the last 20 years has plenty on examples of thieving and fornicating clergy — WANT ME TO ELABORATE ?????
