Justice Sunday- I Respect You

This Sunday is being celebrated as Justice Sunday. The theme I respect you. An excellent message but what is the implementation

I respect you when the Chairman of the Justice and Peace Commission visits and meets the accused paedophile priest without Court permission and refuses to meet the victim child.

I respect you when you resell the gardens already sold in Marinagar Mahim.

I respect you when you allow tenants who are already rehoused once to be rehoused again in order to get more FSI.

I respect you when you are a mute spectator and do not report about the rapes committed by the religious in Kerala and Jallandhar.

I respect you when you justify the cameras in ladies toilets and for keeping the mirror under the camera and not above the wash basin.

I respect you when you used the church machinery to spoil peoples names.

I respect you when you use brute force to make a wrong right and take an illegal morcha to the Police Station.

I respect you when you say that ” I do not work under time limits”. Even after 9 years I am still waiting for the decision.

I respect you when you state in the press that I have ordered an inquiry in the year 2011 but till today my statement has yet to be recorded.

I respect you when you publish one sided news and only give your side of the story.

I respect you when you take the bungalow on trust in Goregaon and then stick to it till date.

I respect you when you take no action against priests who have broken the seal of confession.

I respect you when you use the church pulpit  to spoil peoples names.

I respect you when you pretend to be in the dark even though you are fully informed.

I respect you when you side track good priests who refuse to toe your line.

I respect you when allow residences to be used as offices thereby denying catholics houses because those business men happen to be your friends.

The list can go on and on and my respect for you will not end.

Justice Sunday has indeed a new meaning and I respect you for that.

About The Voice Of Bombay's Catholic Laity

Bombay Laity Ezekiel’s Chapter 3 Task as Watchman 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[b] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

1 Response to Justice Sunday- I Respect You

  1. Mary Anne says:

I have lost respect which is the same meaning as admiration … such as when a gentleman takes his hat off or tips it to a lady as they used to long ago.If I were a man I would not tip my hat to you but I still love you, O Church (what’s left of you ) because Jesus wants me to, and it is the only Church on earth in which one can be saved. O Church you must hide. You must go underground. I still love the one Church of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost which has Mother Mary hovering over her showering graces upon all those who ask and obey the Commandments, while her tears are falling upon the earth and she no longer can bear the weight of her Sons arm.
