Archbishops House Mumbai should not desert the laity when they call for protests.

I have read on Whats App a forward allegedly  written by Fr. Anthony Charangat urging the faithful to come in large numbers for the demonstration on May 3rd, 2015 and where in he has made certain allegations about the BMC and others.

Similar demonstrations were held a couple of years in Gorai in order to shift the dumping ground. The faithful got arrested , two separate FIR’s were filed. In one FIR priests were also made accused.

The faithful are still attending the cases on all dates of hearings. In the meantime the Priests managed the correct contacts and got the prosecution withdrawn against them while the others continue to attend court and have sleepless nights since all the witnesses are public servants.

Why could’nt the prosecution also be withdrawn against all the persons involved?

The innocent people now cant make passports without the permission of the court. After taking permission from the court their passports were issued for only one year unlike others who get passports issued for ten years. One of the faithful and most active in the region , in frustration has left the catholic church.

I think when we call innocent persons for demonstrations , we should also know how to take care of them. We cant leave them to fend for  themselves . These people are villagers who have been made victims thanks to the Church which has deserted them.

About The Voice Of Bombay's Catholic Laity

Bombay Laity Ezekiel’s Chapter 3 Task as Watchman 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[b] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

    फारच वाईट घटना आहे. चर्चने सामान्य भाविकांना असे वाऱ्यावर सोडणे बरे नव्हे.
