DSC_0140Has a  pre historic heritage church,a current church, a school and botanical gardens standing  on Survey Nos. 188,189/2A, 192/3A  at Majiwade Thane been sold?

If sold then Have the concerned clergy knowing sold the said churches?

Has the sole trustee disclosed to the Charity Commissioner about the existence of these churches in which the laity worship at the time he made the application to sell the said land?

Has the laity’s money which has been donated over the years to build and maintain the said structure gone down the drain?

If they have been sold then Who are the clergy who have approved the sale of the said Churches, school and gardens?

If it is not sold , has it been mentioned any where in the conveyance that these structures of religious nature besides the school and botanical gardens have not been sold?

Will the Examiner or any person  which published the clarification give me specific clarification with regard to these questions?

Or will they turn tail?

About The Voice Of Bombay's Catholic Laity

Bombay Laity Ezekiel’s Chapter 3 Task as Watchman 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[b] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

One Response to Status Quo to be maintained by St.John The Baptist Church Thane

  1. Very very shameful indeed. This is the same as the vakola church land sale as well as the aborted sale of a 400 year wooden altar at Papdi village Vasai. The stage actor in all the three cases is the same, yet when the earlier two issues were brought up to the attention of Our Dear cardinal Oswald Gracias by myself, it was quickly swept under the carpet. The issue of the aborted sale of the altar is in the archives of a city news paper, the author being a catholic. I have a copy of the same. While I do understand that Our Dear cardinal could be very busy, being one of the “advisers” to Pope Francis, he has a band of bishops who could be authorized to investigate and comment on the above issues.Of course we expect that there is a unbiased investigation and the proceedings are not tailor cut to achieve a desired result.
Its sad and shameful that some of our own are alleged to have shortchanged our Lord Jesus Christ. I dread to imagine the punishment that awaits them and those who have and are collaborating in their evil plans.
I hope the AB House at Mumbai will respond and not shy away.
