‘Bless me Father, for I have sinned.
I have been with a loose girl . . .’
The priest asks, ‘Is that you, little Dominic Savino?’
‘Yes, Father, it is.’
‘And who was the girl you were with?’
‘I can’t tell you, Father. I don’t want to ruin her reputation.’
“Well, Dominic, I’m sure to find out her name sooner or later
so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?’
‘I cannot say.’
‘Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?’
‘I’ll never tell.’
‘Was it Nina Capelli?’
‘I’m sorry, but I cannot name her.’
‘Was it Cathy Piriano?’
‘My lips are sealed.’
‘Was it Rosa DiAngelo, then?’
‘Please, Father, I cannot tell you.’
The priest sighs in frustration.
‘You’re very tight lipped, and I admire that.
But you’ve sinned and have to atone.
You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months.
Now you go and behave yourself.’
Joey walks back to his pew,
and his friend Franco slides over and whispers,
‘What’d you get?’

‘Four months vacation and five good leads.’

Bombay Laity Ezekiel’s Chapter 3 Task as Watchman 17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me. 18 When I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for[b] their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood. 19 But if you do warn the wicked person and they do not turn from their wickedness or from their evil ways, they will die for their sin; but you will have saved yourself.

  1. As I have said before confession is also for the priest to get his jollies, in his supposedly celibate life

  2. These fellows get an high. Canon law also speaks about a confessor who solicits at the confessional. I have head of a couple who consul those that come for confession that they need more counselling and help. Then the Mambo Jambo starts.
